This is a tough question, but I do have an answer. I would have to say that my favorite inanimate object, at this point in time, is a rock. There is a story behind this answer, and yes I will share it with you.
…. Ah Hem!…… (It’s Story Time)
Some friends and I just finished attending a recital and started chit chatting afterwords. This is where the topic of opposites made it’s way into our conversation. A question popped into my head in the middle of our discussion. The question was “If hot is the opposite of cold, what is the opposite of a fan”? (Such a deep question, right?(sarcasm)) Without hesitation my friend, Sarah, answered rock. After laughing for several minutes we finally continued our discussion, but this is when I decided that if I did not know the opposite of something, I would answer rock as a default.
You may ask “Then what’s the opposite of rock”? That my friends, is a great question indeed and I encourage you all to ponder a better answer than “not rock”. Let this be an inspiration to you all. And let me leave you all with a chorus to an amazing song that I happened to come across.
